Itex International Exhibition Services Ltd was established in 1979 to organise exhibitions abroad for Israeli manufacturers.
In 1981 Itex was appointed Israeli representative of two of the world's leading exhibition centres – Cologne Trade Fair (Germany) and Düsseldorf Trade Fair (Germany), including the exhibitions they organise around the world.
Itex’s role is to locate Israeli manufacturers to exhibit at the Cologne and Düsseldorf Trade Fairs, and then market the exhibitions to relevant Israeli industry professionals and buyers, interested in visiting the trade shows.
Through Itex, visitors from Israel benefit from discounted entry tickets to the major exhibitions in Cologne and Düsseldorf.
Itex is also responsible for marketing exhibitions organised by Cologne and Dusseldorf Trade Fairs in countries outside Germany, such as China, Thailand, Korea, India, Vietnam, Czech Republic, Russia, Brazil, Singapore, the Philippines and elsewhere.
Itex provides stand building and design services for Israeli exhibitors at all of these exhibitions, as well as travel, hotel and B&B reservations, and all associated logistics.
In Israel, Itex organises trade shows in various industries; some are Itex’s initiative and others are on behalf of government departments and other organisations.
